Payment & Satisfaction Notice

This page is a plain-language summary. The accepted proposal, statement of work, service agreement, and invoice govern each paid engagement. The Website Terms of Service provide additional details.
1. Free call, then a written scope
The first 15-minute Fit Call is free. It is not paid consulting and does not create a client relationship. If there is a useful next step, consultation or implementation is separately scoped and quoted before paid work begins.
2. Default payment flow
- agree on the scope;
- review and accept the proposal or SOW and invoice;
- pay the 25% kickoff amount;
- consulting or implementation begins;
- review the agreed deliverables; and
- after acceptance, pay the remaining 75%.
Payment may be made through a Stripe Payment Link, PayPal, or e-transfer, as shown on the invoice. The written project documents may set different milestones or terms where the engagement requires them.
3. Kickoff amount
Once paid consulting or implementation begins, the 25% kickoff amount is earned and is not included in the remaining-fee satisfaction commitment, except where applicable law or the project agreement requires otherwise.
4. Remaining-fee satisfaction commitment
If you identify a material issue against the written acceptance criteria, give me a reasonable opportunity to correct it, and the agreed deliverables still are not accepted, you do not pay the remaining 75%.
This commitment does not refund the kickoff amount and does not cover accepted milestones, approved third-party costs, out-of-scope work, client-caused delays or missing access, unauthorized changes, third-party failure, or a desired revenue or business result. The signed project agreement contains the controlling acceptance process and details.
